Would you like to get involved and become a Friend of LARC?
YOU can assist us in so many different and helpful ways…..
and the rewards you receive will be purrfectly HUGE.
1. Become a weekly volunteer to help feed and look after the animals.
2. Help provide transportation for pets requiring relocation or medical attention.
3. Foster a pet temporarily. We very often have kittens that need a home and good socialization skills for a short while until they are old enough to be moved back into the shelter. (And besides, aren’t kittens cute???)
We also have older cats that are in need of socialization skills also. They just want to be part of your family for a while so they will have good manners when moved back into the shelter.
Community Service…Bring it On!
If you have an idea for a community service project with your students or civic group, we’d love to hear from you!
Every month, Lanai High and Elementary School student volunteers roll into Kitty Kamp to help with jobs like weeding, raking, painting kitty condos, or the most important job of all petting/socializing the cats.
The Maui Rotary Club helped dig trenches and install our irrigation system.
